The elevator doors close on their own. There is no button back up, only a descending hum and then a dining room empty since 1974 — except the stage lights are on and the band is mid-song.
That is the opening minute of Closing Shift, a Roblox horror escape by DoggyTroug. It went live on 21 September 2026 and had 6,508,695 visits by 8 November, with 9,128 people inside at once on the morning this page was checked. You are not a night guard in an office. You are on the floor, with a battery light and a voice the animatronics can hear.
The loop, in one paragraph
Four keys are hidden around the restaurant, and a four-digit code has to go into the exit panel before the lift comes back. Between you and those five objects sit six animatronics with different rules, a power system that fails, a squatter who drags players away, and a birthday song that punishes anyone who walks out on it. Escaping once puts you among 80,777 people out of the 1,339,348 who have ever clocked in.
Before your first ride down
- Read the exit panel before you touch anything. It shows the digits your run needs. The code is not a universal constant, and the official description says every night is different.
- Ask the Puppet. The security desk has one, the description tells you to ask it for help, and the badge for doing so (A Little Advice, 364,719 awards) is one of the most common in the game.
- Wear headphones. That is the developer's own instruction, and it matters: audio is how you learn where something is before it sees you.
- Barricades buy seconds, not safety. The description is blunt that they kick doors in.
- Do not leave the room during the birthday song. The badge name is the instruction: Don't Leave.
What is actually known, and what is not
The game publishes no damage table, no drop rates, no experience curve and no speed figures. What it does publish is generous: 27 badges with global award counts, and ten game passes with prices and hand-written descriptions. Nearly every number on this site comes from those two datasets.
| Question | Where the answer lives |
|---|---|
| How many people actually escape? | 80,777 of 1,339,348 — see the badge table |
| What does the store cost? | 2,289 Robux for all ten passes — price list |
| Is the code always 7825? | No. Read it at the panel — why |
| How long is the level 50 grind? | 45 players have done it — levels |
| What changed this week? | Four pass batches, all rewritten 6 November — timeline |
Where to start reading
If you have never been down the elevator, read What is Closing Shift then the step-by-step escape. The walkthrough follows the order your body moves through the building, because the first thing that kills new players is doing step four before step two.
If you have already escaped once and want the wall filled, go to the seven hardest badges. Night Manager has been awarded 45 times in seven weeks, and that is not a typo.
If you are about to spend Robux, read what to buy first before you open the store. Nine of the ten passes are permanent, one is 599, and three of the cheapest are the ones that change a run most.
If something here contradicts what you see in game, the contact page has one address and a person at the end of it. The game is still shipping, so a page dated 8 November is a snapshot.
